FAQS
What is The Squad?
The Squad is a series of tailored workshops, outings, and social events facilitated by Wellbeing Systems for children and adults, designed to meet individual goals and assist in forming meaningful community connections. Our school holiday programs are tailored to children and teenagers, while the remainder of our programs are for adults and early school leavers.
Is The Squad covered by my NDIS plan?
Yes! Participation costs for most of our The Squad programs are covered by your core or capacity building funding. There may be out-of-pocket expenses, such as entry fees during outings, lunches, etc., and other incidentals, but we will give you plenty of notice about that and keep these costs low where we can.
Am I able to bring a support worker with me to The Squad?
Absolutely! If you feel that you would benefit from 1:1 support, we encourage you to bring your support worker with you, at least to your first session, until you feel comfortable. If you are bringing your support worker, it may be best to confirm billing with them prior to the workshop. We will provide staff to maintain the ratio on the day, but 1:1 support is only available with your own support worker.
